SuperTeacherWorksheets Access

I emailed to ask about free access – here is the reply!

Hello,

Thank you for using Super Teacher Worksheets!

Our hearts reach out to the many communities affected by the COVID-19 virus. As many schools in these communities are closed, we understand that teachers and administrators are in need of online, remote learning tools.

I can provide you with access to our shared temporary account. This account is complementary and the login information is shared with others.

You can login to the site using:

Username: temporaryaccess

Password: stayhealthy

I hope this helps!

Thank you for using Super Teacher Worksheets and have a wonderful day!

Granola bars and other nut free snacks

Thanks so much to those who have brought in granola bars for us to share in our class when students run out of food.

We have had a “run” on our granola bars these last 2 weeks and we are looking for a few more snack donations. If you are able, and haven’t yet, could you please consider donating a box to our class (this week we had 7 different students access these snacks on various days).

Fractions Concepts to Consider

Here are some ideas you can consider when helping your child learn about fractions. Try to find examples to reinforce each concept in every day life at home.

  • Fractions can represent parts of regions, sets, measures, division, or ratios.  These meanings are equivalent.
  • A fraction is not meaningful without knowing what the whole is.
  • There are always two fractions involved in any single fraction situation – the part you are considering and the rest of the whole.
  • You can use a fraction to describe any partitions of a whole.
